In this August 2022 Car Sales Analysis article, we’ll look at the total and average sales figures of the 20 top-selling cars in the last 3 months ending August 2022. We’ll also share the monthly sales figures of each of these 20 cars for the last 3 months.

June 2022 - August 2022 - Top-Selling Cars - 3 Month Total & Average

Out of the top 10 performers in the last 3 months, 6 are from Maruti, 2 from Tata and 2 from Hyundai
Maruti Suzuki WagonR retained its position at the top of the charts in terms of 3-month sales but landed the second spot in terms of August sales
Kia managed to keep 2 cars (Seltos and Sonet) in the top 20 list for the month of August 2022
Hyundai retained their hold in the top 20 list with 4 spots in August for the Creta, Venue, Grand i10 and i20
Out of the 20, 5 cars averaged over 10,000 unit sales over the last 3 months
Mahindra has 1 car, the Bolero, in the top 20 list for August 2022. Meanwhile, Toyota lost its place in the top selling 20 car sales list for August.
