Considering the Hyundai’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of a certain car. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, these waiting periods should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.

2-4 weeks is about enough time to just get the paperwork in order. So, you can consider that they are most likely in stock and pretty much ready for delivery. The following cars fall in this category:

Grand i10 Nios (Petrol-MT & CNG)
Aura (Petrol-MT & CNG)
I20 (Magna & Sportz Petrol-MT)
Venue (Normal Petrol, Turbo Petrol-MT)
Alcazar (Petrol-Auto)

The Aura base model and Venue S (O) DCT variant seem to have a reasonably long waiting period. But the Creta DCT variant’s waiting period is extraordinarily long at almost 6-7 months. Only the Exter base model manages to beat it with a tentative waiting period of more than 7-8 months.

The cars using the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic like the Creta and Venue are also carrying a substantial waiting period of 3-7 months.
