Based on the Creta, the Alcazar is expected to be longer and taller than the donor SUV. From what we have seen in the spy shots, the Alcazar is expected to look similar to Creta at least till the B-pillar. Post that, it is likely to get a flatter roofline and a redesigned rear profile with new chunkier tail lamps.

In terms of dimensions, the Alcazar is expected to be longer and taller than the Creta. The width and wheelbase, however, are expected to remain unchanged. For reference, the Creta is 4300mm long, 1790mm wide and 1635mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2610mm.

Similarly, on the inside, the Alcazar’s cabin is expected to look identical to that of the Creta save for updated upholstery and an additional row of seats. Features on offer should include auto LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, auto AC with rear AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM, air purifier, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, JBL sound system, digital instrument cluster, powered driver’s seat, connected car tech, cruise control, parking camera and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety features on offer include up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and hill hold control.

The Creta is available with three engine options to choose from: 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.4-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel.
