5 Features Skoda Slavia Gets But Hyundai Verna Doesn’t | V3Cars
The Hyundai Verna 2023 is the latest C2-segment sedan in India and it rivals the Skoda Slavia. In this article, we list 5 features that the Skoda Slavia offers but the new Verna doesn’t.
1. Fog Lights
The top variants of the Skoda Slavia offer halogen fog lights whereas the new Verna doesn’t offer fog lights at all. Fog lights improve visibility while driving in dense, foggy conditions. It is worth noting that the previous generation Verna offered projector halogen fog lights. But since the new Verna offers a split headlight setup, Hyundai have removed fog lights from the new sedan.

2. Rain-Sensing Wipers
While both the Slavia and Verna offer automatic headlights, the Slavia also offers rain-sensing wipers. Rain sensing wipers use a sensor placed above the IRVM to measure the intensity of rain and change the wiper speed accordingly.
3. Wireless Android Auto And Apple CarPlay
The Slavia comes with an 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Verna, on the other hand, offers wired connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPay.
4. Full-Colour LCD Display
The top variants of the Slavia offer an all-colour LCD display with customisable menus. The Verna, on the other hand, offers a full-colour, multi-info display (MID) with a digital speedometer and tachometer.

5. 60:40 Seatback Split
The rear seats of the Slavia offer the option of 60:40 split whereas the seatback in the new Verna folds flat as a single unit. The 60:40 split seatback offers better practicality without compromising too much in terms of comfort.
