Step inside the new 5 Series and you will notice the cabin borrows several design influences from the larger 7 Series. It gets a curved binnacle on top of the dashboard that houses a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system. The latter offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with BMW’s virtual assistant. With the 8th-gen model, BMW have minimised the use of physical buttons by incorporating most of the functions into the head unit.
