2023 Renault Triber Launched — Gets New Safety Features And BS6 Phase 2 Compliance | V3Cars
Renault have updated the 2023 Triber with new safety features and BS6 phase 2 emission standards compliance. It continues to come with a 1.0L normal petrol engine with both manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options.
2023 Renault Triber Safety Features
The 2023 Renault Triber offers the following safety features as standard across the range:
- Electronic stability program
- Hill hold control
- Traction control
- Tyre pressure monitoring system
- Rear parking sensors
- Dual front airbags
- Driver seatbelt w/ pretensioner and load limiter

Features like electronic stability program, hill hold control, traction control and tyre pressure monitoring system are new to the Triber and are standard across all the variants. Higher variants of the Triber offer front side thorax airbags as well.
2023 Renault Triber Engine Specifications
Renault continue to offer the Triber with the 1.0L normal petrol as before. The 1.0L normal petrol engine produces 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm. This engine comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. Renault are yet to introduce the 1.0L turbo petrol engine in the Triber. Despite complying with the upcoming BS6 phase 2 emission norms, the 1.0L normal petrol engine continues to offer identical power and torque outputs as before.
2023 Renault Triber Functional And Cosmetic Updates
Apart from the engine update, Renault have also updated the Triber with exterior chrome door handles and a new fabric seat upholstery. Furthermore, the top variants of the Triber continue to offer features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, engine push-button start/stop, height adjustable driver seat and cooled glove box.

Renault India have hiked the prices of the Triber range by up to Rs. 43,500. It continues to be one of the most affordable family 7-seater MPVs in the country and undercuts the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
