Hyundai are marketing the Verna turbo petrol as a sportier alternative to the Verna normal petrol. The 1.5L turbo petrol engine is available in 2 variants – Verna SX and Verna SX(O). In a bid to make the turbo-petrol variants stand out from the normal petrol variants, Hyundai have given the Verna turbo petrol an all-black cabin with sporty red elements. First off, the Verna turbo petrol gets an all-black dashboard with a red stripe running across its width. Additionally, the black leatherette seats, the 2-spoke steering wheel and the shift lever boots get red stitching. In comparison, the normal petrol variants of the new Verna get a dual-tone black-and-beige cabin with beige upholstery.
Other standout features of the new Verna turbo petrol include aluminium pedals, black alloy wheels, red brake callipers and ‘1.5 Turbo’ badging on the tailgate. Furthermore, turbo petrol variants equipped with the dual-clutch automatic transmission also get an electronic parking brake, which is not likely to be a part of the standard equipment with the turbo petrol manual and 1.5L normal petrol variants.
