Hyundai have opened bookings for the 2023 Alcazar. The 2023 Alcazar offers the option of the carmaker’s new 1.5L turbo-petrol engine and the existing 1.5L turbo-diesel engine. Interested buyers can book the 2023 Alcazar via Hyundai’s website or by visiting their nearest Hyundai dealership. The 2023 Alcazar, which is a D1-segment SUV, is expected to launch in the coming weeks. The main rivals of the Alcazar 2023 are the Mahindra XUV700 5-Seater, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 7-Seater. Hyundai Alcazar 2023 Engine Specifications

The Hyundai Alcazar is available with 2 engine options: a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel.

The 1.5L turbo petrol engine makes 150PS of power at 5500rpm and 253Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3500rpm. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The new 1.5L turbo-petrol engine replaces the old 2.0L normal petrol engine. While max power has dropped by 9PS, peak torque has increased by 63Nm. 

The 1.5L turbo diesel engine makes the same power and torque output as before – 116PS of power at 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2750rpm. This engine is available with a 6-speed MT and 6-speed TC transmission.

Both engine options of the 2023 Alcazar comply with BS6 Phase 2 and real driving emission (RDE) norms.
