2023 BMW 3-Series Facelift Revealed | V3Cars
BMW have revealed the 2023 3-Series sedan and touring models globally with a refreshed design and updated equipment. The 2023 3-Series gets a minor design overhaul as an answer to the rising competition. BMW will launch the 3-Series facelift globally in July and we expect it to hit our shores later this year.
Up front, the 2023 3-Series gets a wider but sensibly-sized kidney grille that are flanked by LED headlights. The LED headlights are now flatter than before and also get the inverted L-shaped LED DRLs. The lower part of the bumper gains more black surrounds and bigger air intakes to lend it a sportier look. The side profile remains unchanged save for the newer design for the alloy wheels. At the back, the taillights are now a tad slimmer while the reflectors are now incorporated in gloss black casing on either side.

While the exterior changes of the 3-Series are subtle, the interiors host all the big upgrades. A curved screen sits atop the dashboard featuring the 12.3-inch driver’s display and 14.9-inch iDrive touchscreen infotainment system. Other changes include redesigned AC vents, new gear shifter, three-zone climate control and a new knurl finish on the trim pieces. The overall space and comfort remain largely unchanged in the 2023 3-Series.
The 2023 3-Series continues with the same set of engine and transmission options. The 2.0L turbo petrol engine is available in three states of tune — 318i with 156PS, 320i with 184PS and 330i with 245PS. The M340i, on the other hand, produces 374PS of power whereas the current M340i dishes out 387PS. The diesel engine options include the 318d with 150PS, 320d with 190PS, 330d with 286PS and M340d with 340PS. All engine options now come standard with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
