2022 MG ZS EV Completes 5000 Sales

MG Record 5,000 Unit Sales Of The 2022 ZS EV | V3Cars

MG Motor India have recorded 5,000 unit sales for the ZS EV. This milestone consists of both the 2022 ZS EV and the ZS EV pre-facelift. MG launched the ZS EV facelift in March 2022. The new ZS EV comes with a bigger battery pack, updated styling and new features over the previous model.

It is worth noting that the 5,000 unit sales milestone was achieved in 2 years, ever since the ZS EV was launched back in 2020. MG claim that the ZS EV garners an average of 1,000 bookings every month. In addition to that, MG motor recorded total sales of 4,503 units in June 2022, with an year-on-year growth of 27%.

MG offer the new ZS EV in two variants — Excite and Exclusive. The new ZS EV packs in a bigger 50.3kWh battery pack along with a more powerful motor. It now produces 176PS of power and 280Nm of torque. Speaking of range, the new ZS EV offers a claimed range of 461km on a single charge.

MG Motor India are currently setting up 1,000 AC fast chargers at various residential localities in the country to enhance EV charging infrastructure. In addition to that, all MG dealerships now feature a fast charger and the carmaker has also partnered with Fortum, Delta, eChargeBays, Exicom, Electreefi and Tata Power to introduce DC and AC fast chargers across the country.
