2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Revealed - Exterior And Interior Pictures | V3Cars

Official exterior and interior images of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno have been revealed, ahead of its launch on February 23. The official images reveal all the design and functional changes over the current model.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a redesigned front fascia. The LED headlights retain the projector setup but the LED DRLs now get a tri-arrow design. The grille up front is now broader and the bonnet shut line ends way above the grille. The lower part of the bumper gets large air inlets and circular LED fog lamps.

At the side, the character line is now rather straightforward, as it ditches the earlier flowing design. The wheel arches are the same as before with a hint of flair, and the 16-inch alloy wheels now get a new design. In addition to that, the chrome strip below the window line now extends to the C- and D-pillars. At the rear, the 2022 Baleno gets split LED tail lights, with tri-LED elements. The reflectors have moved higher up on the bumper. Sadly, the new Baleno still lacks a shark fin antenna.

Speaking of the interior changes, the dashboard layout of the new Baleno now resembles the 2022 S-Cross, which is on sale in international markets. The dashboard gets a multi-layer design with a silver accent at the center. The AC vents have now shifted below the touchscreen, which is a new 9.0-inch unit, supporting both wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Speaking of the features on offer, the 2022 Baleno gets a head-up display, automatic climate control, a 360-degree parking camera, cruise control, rear AC vents, 60:40 split seats, and footwell lighting.

2022 Baleno

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has traded the normal and mild-hybrid engines for the normal dual-jet petrol engine. The 1.2L normal petrol engine produces 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque. The new Baleno will be offered with two transmission options — a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Thanks to the addition of AMT, we expect the automatic variants to be priced similar to the CVT-equipped variants of the outgoing model. Maruti Suzuki is likely to price the Baleno from Rs. 6.3 lakh to Rs. 9.5 lakh ex-showroom.
