A few days ago, we had reported that Toyota are looking to bring a small SUV to India with “mini Land Cruiser” traits. According to Reuters, Toyota are looking to expand their production capacity in India by adding another plant. The source with knowledge of the matter informed Reuters that the plant will have an initial production capacity of 80,000 - 1,20,000 units per year. This capacity will ramp up to 2 lakh units per year over the next few years once the plant becomes operational.

According to an official confirmation from the Ministry of Mines, a large 5.9 million tonnes of “inferred resources G3” was discovered in Jammu and Kashmir.
