Mini Cooper SE Launched In India At Rs 47.20 Lakh | V3Cars

Mini India have launched the all-electric Cooper SE at Rs. 47.20 Lakh (ex-showroom). The electric hatchback is offered in the 3-door configuration and gets a 32.6kWh battery pack. The Mini Cooper SE not only comes with an 8-year/1 lakh km warranty but Mini India will also offer a wallbox charger along with installation at no extra cost.

The Mini Cooper SE has design tweaks to differentiate it from the standard Mini. A flat front grille, bright yellow ORVMs, Corona spoke wheels and Union Jack LED taillights are some of its design features. On the inside, the Mini Cooper SE offers an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, drive modes, and bright yellow accents.

As we stated earlier, the Mini Cooper SE comes with a 32.6kWh battery pack. It powers a 184PS electric motor that churns out 270Nm of torque. The Mini Cooper SE retains its front-wheel-drive layout and go-kart feel. The electric power helps it hit 0-100kmph in 7.3 seconds. The Mini Cooper SE is good for a certified range of 270km on a single charge.

Mini offer three charging options for the Cooper SE. The 50kW DC fast charger is capable of charging the Cooper SE from 0-80% in 36 minutes. The 11kW AC charger can charge it from 0-80% in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Lastly, the 2.3kW AC charger can charge the Cooper SE from 0-80% in 9 hours and 43 minutes. The Mini Cooper SE will be sold in limited numbers and doesn’t have any direct rivals in the country yet.
