Volkswagen Virtus Enters The ‘India Book Of Records’ – 150 Sedans Delivered In A Single Day From A Dealership | V3Cars

Volkswagen say that since the Virtus went on sale, they are organising mega delivery programs across their 152 showrooms in India.

Volkswagen launched the Virtus this month as a replacement for the Vento sedan. The Virtus is underpinned by the heavily localised MQB A0-IN platform and gets the option of 2 turbo-petrol engines. The engine options of the Virtus include a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine. The 1.0L turbo-petrol engine comes with the option of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission. On the other hand, the 1.5L turbo-petrol comes with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

The Virtus is priced between Rs. 11.21 lakh and Rs. 17.92 lakh (ex-showroom). It goes up against other C-segment sedans, such as the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Nexa Ciaz.
