Volkswagen ID.2all Concept Design Details

The new ID.2all concept takes design cues from the Golf and incorporates them in the footprint of the Polo hatchback. Volkswagen claim that the production version of the ID.2all will be as spacious as the Golf yet as affordable as the Polo. The concept gets a sleek front profile with connected LED headlights. Even though it boasts 5 doors, the rear doors sit seamless with the body thanks to hidden door handles around the C-pillar. The rear of the ID.2all seems flat in the images and it also incorporates connected LED tail lights with the VW logo in the middle.

Volkswagen ID.2all Concept Interior Details

The interior images of the ID.2all concept reveal a clutter-free dashboard. The dashboard features a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system while the rectangular digital instrument cluster sits ahead of the steering wheel. The ID.2all also gets a big storage space under the flowing centre console, which features the rotary gear selector and cup holders. Volkswagen are likely to reveal the feature list of the ID.2all closer to its global unveil.

Volkswagen ID.2all Concept Powertrain Details

While Volkswagen didn’t reveal the battery size for the ID.2all, the carmaker announced that the production-spec ID.2all will offer a driving range of around 450km on a single charge. It is interesting to note that the ID.2all will sit on Volkswagen’s new MEB entry platform and will be the first ID model to offer a front wheel drivetrain. The front-mounted electric motor of the ID.2all will offer 226PS of power, making it capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in under 7 seconds. In terms of charging, the ID.2all will charge from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes with the help of a DC fast charger.

Volkswagen ID.2all Concept Launch Details

Volkswagen will reveal the production version of the ID.2all concept in 2023. The ID.2all is one of 10 new electric models from Volkswagen that will go on sale by 2026. For the year 2023, Volkswagen will reveal the new ID.3, ID.Buzz long wheelbase and ID.7.
