In this August 2022 Cars Sales Analysis article, we’ll look at the total and average sales figures of the 20 top-selling cars in the last 6 months ending August 2022. We’ll also share the monthly sales figures of each of these 20 cars for the last 6 months.

March 2022 - August 2022 – Top-Selling Cars – 6-Month Total & Average

Maruti Suzuki retained its massive lead over other carmakers, with 7 out of the top 10 bestselling cars, based on average sales figures between the month of March and August 2022
The Tata Nexon is still the bestselling non-Maruti car on the list. It holds the 3rd position in August, in comparison to 5th in the month of July
The Hyundai Creta is the second bestselling non-Maruti car in 6th spot
The Toyota Innova Crysta retained its position on the top 20 list for sales between February 2022 and August 2022 and is the only Toyota car to make this list
Notable brands that didn’t make it on this list are Nissan, Renault, Volkswagen, Skoda and Honda.
