In this September 2023 Toyota car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Toyota for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Toyota cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Toyota cars.

September 2023 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Only car to lose sales in September 2023 compared to September 2022 was the Fotuner D2-SUV. Toyota reported a decline of 2.08% in dispatches of the Fortuner when compared to the September of last year.
Amongst the high-volume cars from Toyota, Innova Crysta and Hycrosss’ combined numbers show a growth of over 22% in September YoY comparison analysis.
Hyryder sales more than tripled in September 2023 compared to September 2022
Vellfire luxury MPV dispatches dropped to 0 in September 2023 from 50 to September 2022.
Urban Cruiser dispatches declined over the last few months and in November for the first time, Toyota dispatched zero units of B2-segment SUV. It was discontinued by the carmaker soon after.
Toyota dispatched 350 units of the Urban Cruiser SUV in September 2023.

September 2023 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

Most cars from Toyota saw a decline in MoM sales comparison for September 2023, with the exception of the Hyryder SUV.
The Hyryder saw drop of 7.69% in MoM comparison for September.
The Rumion dispatches grew over tenfold in September over August and was the top gainer in terms of growth percentage.
Glanza reported the second best MoM growth with a 61.22% in September over August 2023.
