Body-Wise September 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

Sedans witnessed the biggest YoY growth of roughly 113% in September 2022 compared to September 2021
Hatchbacks witnessed a biggest YoY growth of 106%
The SUV was the best-selling body style in India. It was closely followed by hatchbacks
All body-styles’ sales were up in the past year, starting September 2021

Body-Wise September 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

In the MoM comparison for September 2022, SUVs witnessed the biggest growth in sales with an increase of 10.24%
Sedans saw a decline of 5.34% and only 2 pick-ups were sold in September compared to 20 in August
