In this November 2022 Maruti Suzuki Cars Sales Analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Arena and Nexa for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Maruti cars’ sales improved and which ones declined.

November 2022 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

9 out of 15 Maruti cars saw a rise in sales figures in our YoY Maruti Suzuki sales comparison
Maruti produced 1,32,395 cars in November 2022 compared to 1,09,722 units in November 2021
The Ignis was the top YoY gainer, with 239.36% growth in the month of November, followed by Baleno with a 111% YoY rise in dispatches.
They were followed by the Dzire and Ertiga, with 76.38% and 58% gain, respectively, in our November YoY comparison.
The top YoY loser was Celerio, with a YoY decline of 58.4%, followed by S-Presso, with around 29.31% YoY decline.
The Maruti S-Cross was discontinued over the past year. Hence, there’s no YoY comparison for November 2022.

November 2022 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

The Alto twins were beaten by the Baleno as the best-selling Maruti car in November. Maruti Suzuki sold nearly 21,000 units of the Baleno compared to a little over 15,000 units of the Alto twins.
Since its launch, the Grand Vitara was the top MoM gainer till the month of October, with over 68% growth from September to October. But in November MoM comparison, the Ertiga became the top gainer, with almost 32% growth.
The Grand Vitara was expected to continue its growth but saw a decline of 45% in dispatches, which is huge.
The Baleno, XL6 and Dzire were the next top MoM gainers with 22%, 20% and 17% growth, respectively.
Among the top MoM losers apart from Grand Vitara were the Celerio with a 42% decline, S-Presso with 29.6% decline, Alto/Alto K10 with 26.3% drop and WagonR with 18% drop in November MoM comparison analysis.
