Nissan Reveal Magnite AMT Claimed Fuel Efficiency Figure | V3Cars
Nissan India showcased the Magnite AMT alongside the Magnite Kuro recently. Ahead of its launch, Nissan have revealed the claimed fuel efficiency of the Magnite AMT variants. Let’s take a look at the engine specs, fuel efficiency or mileage, and features of the 2023 Nissan Magnite AMT.
Nissan Magnite AMT Fuel Efficiency Revealed
According to Nissan, the Magnite AMT offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.70kmpl. Here’s how the Magnite AMT stacks up against the other variants of the B2-segment SUV.
- Nissan Magnite 1.0L Normal Petrol MT - 19.35kmpl
- Nissan Magnite 1.0L Normal Petrol AMT - 19.70kmpl
- Nissan Magnite 1.0L Turbo Petrol MT - 20kmpl
- Nissan Magnite 1.0L Turbo Petrol CVT - 17.40kmpl
The claimed fuel efficiency figure of the Magnite AMT is 0.35kmpl more than the manual variants. The Magnite AMT is powered by a 1.0L normal petrol engine that puts 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm. The Magnite is also available with a 1.0L turbo petrol engine that produces 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 160Nm of torque between 2800rpm and 3600rpm. However, only the normal petrol engine is available with the AMT option while the turbo petrol gets the choice of a CVT.
In terms of rivals, the Nissan Magnite AMT will compete with the automatic varaints of the Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, Maruti Nexa Fronx, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, and the new Tata Nexon 2023.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition
The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition gets an all-black treatment inside-out. On the outside, the Magnite Kuro offers an all black grille, grille surrounds, skid plates, roof rails, door handles, alloy wheels. It even features black accents in the headlamps. Other changes over the standard Manite include red brake calipers.
The Magnite Kuro is based on the VX variant of the standard Magnite SUV. Apart from a black roof liner, sun visors, door cards, door handles, steering wheel and AC vent surrounds, the Magnite Kuro also offers the following features:
- 360-degree parking camera
- 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless charger
- 6 speakers
- Rear AC vents
As part of Nissan’s collaboration with the ICC World Cup 2023, the Magnite Kuro will be the official car of the upcoming tournament. The Magnite Kuro is slated to go on sale on October 7, while the Magnite AMT prices are likely to be revealed on October 9. Nissan dealerships are currently accepting bookings for both the Magnite Kuro and Magnite AMT.
