2021 Celerio Front Design

The front of the new Celerio looks like a mix between Swift and Alto K10. The horizontal chrome accent line in the grille reminds me of the Swift’s front while the headlamp cluster looks like an evolved version of the Alto K10’s The bumper design is quite aggressive and the bonnet is much more rounded like the Swifts.

From the side, Celerio’s new dark and sporty alloy wheel design instantly grabs the attention. The other notable design features of the next-generation Celerio are flap-type door handles and side turn indicators, which are integrated into the outside mirrors.

The rear of the upcoming Maruti Celerio also gets a bulging boot lid like the Swift and Baleno, which is giving it a premium look. Just like the Swift, there are no Maruti Suzuki badges on the car. Maruti Suzuki are confident that they are a household name and don’t need to brand the car with another budge. Thus, the car’s rear looks clean from the back.

Around the rear, you can also notice the rear wiper and the roof-integrated washer jet.

Next-Generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio Engine Specs - Expected

We expect the car to retain the tried-and-tested 1.0-litre normal petrol engine. This engine will get the same 5-speed manual and 5-sped AMT automatic transmission. Just like the current Celerio, the new car will also get CNG variants. As the price of petrol shoots up, we tend to see higher demand for CNG cars.

In addition, Celerio may also get the 1.2-litre engine as an option just like the WagonR. Celerio 1.2 will also come with the 5-speed manual and AMT automatic transmission.

2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio Prices - Expected

The current Celerio costs anywhere between Rs. 4.66 and Rs. 6.01 lakh (ex-showroom). It is worth noting that the prices of raw materials, especially metals are also skyrocketing recently. To maintain decent profits, Maruti may launch the new Celerio with a higher price to compensate for the rising input costs.

We can expect the new Celerio to start at Rs. 5.0 lakh and go up to Rs. 6.5 lakh. With these prices, it’ll compete against the WagonR and Ignis from Maruti’s own stable. Other competitors of the 2021 Celerio include Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro

All-New Maruti Suzuki Celerio Launch Date - Expected

Considering that the carmaker is already shooting the commercials hints at an imminent launch. We are expecting the car to go on sale sometime in August 2021 or latest by the end of September 2021.
