Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2025 Spied Ahead Of Launch Later This Year | V3Cars

The new generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire was spotted undergoing tests on our roads for the first time ahead of its estimated early 2025 launch. Like 3 generations of the sedan before, the new Dzire will share its styling and mechanicals with the Swift hatchback. Like the new Swift that was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2023, the new Dzire could offer a turbo petrol mild hybrid engine and improved safety features over the outgoing model.

New Maruti Dzire Spied; Reveals 360-Degree Camera

While there are no spy shots of the new Dzire’s front end, the rest of the sedan was covered in heavy camouflage. While details of the new Swift are limited at the moment, the spy shots reveal a camera on the ORVM, suggesting the new sedan could come with a 360-degree surround view monitor. While the Dzire 2025 prototype’s alloy wheels feature a new pattern, the over silhouette of the sedan is similar to the outgoing model.

The spy shots also reveal the rear of the upcoming Dzire, which looks sharper than before thanks to a new pair of LED tail lamps. The boot and the bumper look quite flat to fit the new Dzire under the sub-4m sedan category.

The new Dzire 2025 spy shots reveal the same dashboard as the upcoming Swift. Hence, expect the new sedan to offer a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system in its top variants. Like in the current model, we expect the 2025 Dzire’s cabin to feature a light beige finish over the Swift’s black interior theme. The spy shots also reveal 2 adjustable headrests for rear seat passengers and a manually adjustable inside rear view mirror. Other features we could expect in the new Dzire include:

Digital instrument cluster
3-point seatbelts for all passengers
6 airbags in top variants
Head-up display
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Wireless charger

The global-spec Swift was showcased with Level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), and we could expect a few features like lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking to trickle down to the India-spec Dzire 2025 and Swift 2024.

The new Maruti Dzire may come with Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine codenamed the Z12. The new engine is likely to produce 82PS of power and 108Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT automatic. The new engine is likely to offer improved fuel efficiency over the current Dzire, which has a mileage figure of 22.41kmpl with the manual and 22.61kmpl with the automatic.

Maruti Suzuki are likely to launch the new Dzire sometime early in 2025. When launched, it will compete with other B2-segment sedans like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor.
