May 2023 - Volkswagen Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Volkswagen cars’ reported an overall growth in sales numbers in the May YoY and MoM comparison analysis.
The Tiguan D1-segment SUV witnessed a 217% rise in sales in our May 2023 YoY sales comparison
The Taigun C-segment SUV reported a 17% growth in terms of YoY comparison in May
The Vento was discontinued by Volkswagen in the past year
The Virtus was the second best-selling car for Volkswagen with just shy of 1,500 dispatches in April 2023, but now has become the top selling car from the carmaker with over 1,600 units dispatched in May 2023

May 2023 - Volkswagen Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

In terms of MoM comparison, the Taigun saw a decline of 2.37% in May and was the sole loser, even though it is a very low volume car for Volkswagen
Tiguan is the only low-volume car from Volkswagen with 171 units sold in May and showed an MoM growth of 451.61%
The Virtus also showed a growth of 10.13% compared to April
