Maruti Suzuki are gearing up to debut the Jimny 5-door at the 2023 Auto Expo. Ahead of its launch, our sources confirmed that the Jimny 5-door will come in 4 variants and retail via Maruti’s Nexa chain of dealerships.

Jimny 5-Door To Come In 4 Variants

Our sources confirmed that the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door will be offered in 4 variants. Take a look at the variants of the Jimny 5-door:

- Zeta petrol-manual

- Zeta petrol-automatic

- Alpha petrol-manual

- Alpha petrol-automatic

Like other Maruti Nexa offerings, the Zeta variant of the Jimny 5-door will offer all the essential features whereas the top-spec Alpha variant is likely to pack a couple of feel-good features. The Jimny 5-door is likely to offer features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4-wheel-drive low, locking front and rear differentials, rear AC vents, rear centre armrest and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

The Jimny is likely to come with a 1.5L normal petrol engine that’s seen in the Jimny 3-door, Brezza and a slew of other Maruti Suzuki offerings. In the Jimny 3-door, this engine churns out 102PS of power and 130Nm of torque. The figures sound meek next to the Thar petrol, which is powered by a 2.0L turbo petrol engine and produces 150PS of power and 300Nm of torque. We expect the Jimny 5-door to offer the new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission over the Jimny 3-door’s 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-Door — Launch Timeline, Rivals And Expected Prices
