Suzuki To Showcase eVX Interior And Updated Exterior Later This Month | V3Cars
Suzuki are set to showcase the updated exterior design of the eVX as well as the interior of the upcoming electric SUV at the Japan Mobility Show, which starts on October 26. The production-spec eVX, which is expected to go on sale in 2025, could become Maruti Suzuki’s first passenger EV in India. Read on to know more.
Maruti Suzuki eVX Interior Reveal Soon
After showcasing the eVX concept electric SUV earlier this year at the 2023 Auto Expo, Suzuki have now released a rendered image of the eVX’s cabin. The image suggests that the production-spec eVX could feature a 2-spoke steering wheel, joining the likes of the new Tata Nexon and upcoming Harrier SUVs. The image also shows the dashboard equipped with a large floating screen that houses the fully digital instrument cluster as well as the touchscreen infotainment system.
The production-spec eVX will be based on a dedicated EV platform. Hence, we expect it to feature a flat floor with a floating centre console with generous space underneath, like you would fine in the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. The image also showcases a rotary dial for drive modes and vertical AC vents. We could also expect the production-spec eVX to offer a panoramic sunroof in the higher variants.

Maruti Suzuki eVX EV Specs, Dimensions And Rivals
Suzuki are yet to reveal the electric motor and battery specifications of the upcoming eVX. However, they revealed that the eVX will offer a driving range of 500km. We could expect Maruti Suzuki to offer 2 battery options for the eVX for medium and long range. As per Suzuki, the eVX will measure 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width, 1600mm in height and sport a wheelbase of 2700mm. This classifies it as a C-segment SUV and when launched, the eVX could take on the Hyundai Creta EV, which is reportedly under development and slated to go on sale in 2025.
