Maruti Nexa Grand Vitara CNG Prices Likely To Start From Rs. 12.85 Lakh | V3Cars

Maruti Nexa are likely to launch the Grand Vitara CNG soon. The Grand Vitara CNG could come in Delta and Zeta variants and Maruti Nexa are likely to commence bookings in the next few weeks. Here are our expected prices for the upcoming CNG SUV.

Considering Maruti Suzuki charge a premium of Rs. 95,000 for the Baleno CNG over its corresponding petrol variants, we can expect Maruti Nexa to charge the same premium for the Grand Vitara CNG. Then there’s the Maruti Nexa XL6 CNG to consider. Maruti charge a premium of Rs. 95,000 for the XL6 CNG over the XL6 petrol variants. Since the Grand Vitara will share its CNG powertrain with the XL6, our prediction of a Rs. 95,000 premium is reasonable.

At Rs. 12.85 lakh ex-showroom, the Grand Vitara CNG will become one of the most-expensive CNG offerings in the market. It is worth mentioning that Toyota have already opened bookings for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG and based on its expected prices, it is likely to be priced higher over the Grand Vitara.

With the Zeta variant, the Grand Vitara offers features like LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, 6 airbags, reverse parking camera, ambient lighting, Arkamys sound system, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. We can expect the same set of features to make their way into the Grand Vitara CNG Zeta variant as well.

We expect Maruti Suzuki to launch the Grand Vitara CNG after the price announcement of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The CNG variants of both SUVs will take on diesel variants of rival SUVs, such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Grand Vitara CNG and Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG will be an ideal choice for those looking for low-running costs and high fuel efficiency from their SUVs without moving to the expensive strong hybrid variants.
