Mahindra XUV400 Electric Debut Likely In September

Mahindra Could Unveil XUV400 Electric In September | V3Cars

Mahindra are likely to unveil the all-electric XUV400 SUV in September and we expect it to hit showrooms in January 2023. The XUV400 Electric will measure longer than the XUV300 as it will have a length of more than 4 metres.

The new XUV400 electric is likely to sport a bigger boot and added room on the inside thanks to the increased length. It will rival other all-electric SUVs like the Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Kona Electric. Mahindra have already confirmed that the XUV400 will measure around 4.2 metres, making it longer than both the XUV300 and Nexon EV.

The XUV400 Electric is likely to boast a 40kWh battery pack and an electric motor capable of producing around 150PS of power. These specs will put the XUV400 Electric up against the recently-launched Nexon EV Max. It is worth noting that the XUV400 Electric will have a significant size advantage over sub-4 metre SUVs such as the Nexon EV Max. Hence, the XUV400 Electric will sit between the Nexon EV Max and MG ZS EV.
