Mahindra XUV300 Spotted With New Front Fascia | V3Cars
The Mahindra XUV300 facelift was spotted on test once again and this time, the spy shots show us a glimpse of its redesigned front fascia. Read on to know more details about the upcoming XUV300 facelift.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Spotted With New Frontal Design
The XUV300 facelift is currently under development and the updated B2-segment SUV is likely to offer several changes on the design front. Mahindra launched the XUV300 in February 2019 and since then, it hasn’t received any major updates. The latest video reveals the new C-shaped headlight clusters of the XUV300 facelift , which is similar to the design seen on Mahindra’s Born Electric concept SUV.

With the facelift, we expect the XUV300’s design to fall in line with the XUV700 and the upcoming all-electric SUVs like the XUV.e8 and BE range of SUVs. The XUV300 facelift could feature a C-shaped LED DRL design with integrated headlights, unlike the latest crop of SUVs that feature a split headlight design. We also expect the XUV300 facelift to pack a larger front grille and redesigned bumpers.
Around the side, the video doesn’t show any changes over the current model. It seems to continue with its sub-4m bodystyle with a severely chopped off rear end. At the rear, the XUV300 facelift could feature redesigned tail lights that are likely to be smaller than the ones on the current model. With the facelift, we also expect Mahindra to reduce the clutter around the boot area of the XUV300 by moving the registration plate to the rear bumper.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Interior Changes
The spy shots don’t reveal any details about the interiors of the XUV300 facelift. That said, we expect Mahindra to overhaul the cabin of the XUV300 facelift and add a lot more features and tech as the latter is the weakest link of the current XUV300. We expect the carmaker to add a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a digital driver’s display in a single slab of glass like in the Mahindra XUV700.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Powertrain Details
In terms of powertrains, we expect the XUV300 to retain the same set of engine options as the current SUV. The current model features a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 130PS of power at 5000rpm and 230Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3750rpm. The 1.5L diesel engine option produces 117PS of power at 3750rpm and 300Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2500rpm. We do not expect the updated SUV to come with the less-powerful version of 1.2L turbo petrol engine that’s currently on offer.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Launch Details
While Mahindra are yet to reveal the launch timeline for the XUV300, the carmaker is likely to introduce the XUV300 facelift towards the end of 2023. The XUV300 facelift is likely to give tough competition to the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift, which is also hiding a lot of changes under its camouflage.
