Mahindra Born Electric Concept SUV Interior Teased – Global Unveil In July | V3Cars

Mahindra Born Electric are all set to unveil three electric SUV concepts in July 2022. The EV arm of the Indian SUV maker has teased the interior of one of the upcoming SUVs. While the SUV is in the concept stage, the new teaser does reveal a few key details.

A brief look at the teaser suggests the upcoming electric SUV will have two large screens in a single housing on top of the dashboard. The layout is similar to what we have seen in the new XUV700. Further, the upcoming electric SUVs are likely to feature the XUV700’s AdrenoX OS too.

Other details include a dome-like design that starts from the driver’s armrest and fits flush with the centre console. It remains to be seen if the same design element will be carried over to the production-spec models. The D-cut steering wheel in the teaser is reminiscent of that of the XUV700.

Mahindra Born Electric

Mahindra will launch three electric SUVs built from the ground up in the coming years. All three SUVs will feature a new electric platform built from the ground up. The new platform should allow Mahindra to offer better packaging and space management. Earlier teasers revealed a bold design approach, thanks in part to the big LED headlights upfront and a butch stance. The upcoming models are likely to be a compact electric SUV, a mid-size electric SUV and a coupe-styled electric SUV.

Three electric SUVs will be unveiled in July this year. However, we expect these to be the concept versions of the upcoming electric SUVs. The production version of these three SUVs are likely to be revealed closer to launch in the coming years.
