  • Maruti’s supremacy over the Indian car market is such that Maruti would have to lose roughly half the units in sales to match the second best-selling brand, Hyundai.
  • The WagonR from Maruti Suzuki was the best-selling model in June, with almost 17,481 units sold.
  • The manufacturer with the least units sold in June was Jeep, with just 493 units, which is a drop of 32.83% compared to May.
  • In the last 6-9 months, we’ve witnessed a lot of action in the Indian auto industry with a bunch of new car launches, generation updates and mid-life refreshes. We can expect a lot more to happen during the rest of 2023.
