In this June 2022 Maruti Suzuki Cars Sales Analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Arena and Nexa for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Maruti cars sales are improving and which ones are declining.

June 2022 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Other than the abnormal YoY gains of the Celerio, Ciaz is the top performers with about 150% rise
About half the cars in Maruti’s portfolio witnessed a YoY drop in June 2022
S-Presso and XL6 were the biggest losers in June 2022 registering a drop of almost 87% and 66%, respectively
The Vitara Brezza saw a massive decline as it was up for a generation change
Ciaz, which continued to see a loss till May YoY finally saw some improvement in June
The WagonR remains the consistent top performer despite a decline in numbers in June 2022

June 2022 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

In terms of MoM change also, half the cars of Maruti witnessed a decline in June.
Among top gainers are the Ciaz and Celerio with 157% and 35.7% MoM improvement.
The XL6 and Ertiga twins recently got an upgrade with improved efficiency and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This update probably made them the top gainers in previous months, but are now losing ground as suggested by the June 2022 MoM comparison.
Among top MoM losers we have the S-Presso and the Vitara Brezza. The sales of these cars were down in June 2022 by 85% and 57.3% respectively.
