The Jeep Meridian Overland offers a new chrome-studded 7-slat grille over the Limited Plus variant of the SUV. Around the side, the Meridian Overland offers a new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the Meridian Overland offers a new soft trim for the crash pad, which is similar to suede. The dashboard and centre console get bronze trim instead of chrome.

The Jeep Meridian Overland is powered by a 2.0L turbo diesel engine that produces 172PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. While the lower variants of the Meridian SUV offer the option of a 6-speed manual, the Meridian Overland only gets a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
