2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Expected Vs Launch Price

Take a look at the expected vs launch price of the Jeep Grand Cherokee:

Since Jeep India announced the Grand Cherokee would be assembled in India, we expected it to get a competitive price tag. Jeep India offer the Grand Cherokee with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. The same engine does duty on the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Rubicon. Take a look at the engine specifications of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Jeep Grand Cherokee is the least powerful SUV in the segment. Like the Grand Cherokee, the Volvo XC90 too gets a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. However, it offers more power and torque than the Grand Cherokee. All SUVs in the segment come with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and 4-wheel-drive.

The new Grand Cherokee offers class-leading tech with a 10.25-inch front co-passenger touchscreen display. Additionally, it also packs a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.0-inch head-up display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. That’s 4 displays for the 1st row occupants, each measuring 10-inch or more. Other features of the Grand Cherokee include active noise cancellation, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, surround view camera, leather seats with ventilation, 9-speaker sound system, 8 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, terrain response modes and advanced driving assistance system (ADAS).

Jeep Grand Cherokee goes up against other premium family SUVs in the segment, such as the BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Discovery. Thanks to local assembly and a smaller turbo petrol engine, the Grand Cherokee is currently the most affordable SUV in its class.
