Honda City Feature List Revised | V3Cars
After the launch of the City e:HEV hybrid, Honda Cars India have given the City sedan a feature revision. While the 4th-gen City has gained an advantage from the revision, the 5th-gen City loses a couple of features.
Honda continues to offer the 4th-gen City in two variants — SV and V. The base SV trim now comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which was earlier reserved for the V variant. It is worth noting that the 4th-gen City gets an older generation touchscreen infotainment system. Surprisingly, the addition of the infotainment system hasn’t affected the prices of the 4th-gen City.

The 5th-gen City, on the other hand, has seen a couple of deletions in terms of features and equipment. Firstly, the base-spec V trim now misses out on the front and rear mud flaps. Secondly, the interior door handles no longer get a chrome finish. Instead, it will get a black finish in all variants. The biggest change, however, is the 5th-gen City now gets a 15-inch space-saver steel wheel in place of a full-size, dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheel.

In addition to these changes, Honda Cars India will no longer offer variant badges on their cars — like V, VX and ZX. However, the City e:HEV hybrid will continue to get the ‘e:HEV’ badge on the boot lid.
As for the future, Honda Cars India are likely to launch a Creta-rivalling compact SUV and a Nexon-rivalling sub-compact SUV soon. However, the launch timeline of both SUVs isn’t revealed yet.
