In this August 2022 Toyota car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Toyota for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Toyota cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Toyota cars.

August 2022 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Toyota saw YoY growth across the board, except for the Camry, which saw a decline of 28.74%
Glanza was the top YoY gainer for Toyota, with a growth of 65.36%
The Innova Crysta was the top selling product for Toyota in the Indian market

August 2022 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

Most cars from Toyota saw a decline in MoM comparison for August 2022, except Glanza which saw a gain of 1.72%.
Here we are disregarding Vellfire and Hilux as they are very low volume offerings and hence their numbers do not portray a fair picture when speaking in terms of percentage.
Hilux sold 10 times more cars (from 2 to 20) as compared to July in August 2022.
