In this August 2022 Skoda car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Skoda for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Skoda cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Skoda cars.

August 2022 - Skoda Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

In Skoda’s portfolio, the Kushaq, Octavia and Superb are the only cars old enough to have a YoY record. The rest of the cars are either discontinued or too new to provide a meaningful insight into their YoY performance changes.
The Slavia and Kushaq, the 2 C-segment cars, are still consistent top sellers in Skoda’s lineup.
The Kushaq was the top loser, with a 35.4% decline in August YoY sales comparison.
The Kushaq was followed by the Superb and Octavia with a 25% and 20.76% decline, respectively, in August YoY sales comparison.
There were no gainers in the August 2022 YoY comparison.

August 2022 - Skoda Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

In terms of MoM changes, the Octavia was the biggest losers by far, recording a drop of 48.5%
The Kodiaq was the top MoM gainer, registering an improvement of 37.27%, followed by the Slavia with a growth of 2.43%.
