In this August 2022 Kia cars sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Kia for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Kia model’s sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Kia cars.

August 2022 - Kia Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

The Sonet gained 1.11% YoY and was the top gainer in Kia’s portfolio for the month of August 2022
The Carnival was Kia’s top loser last month, with a 27.7% YoY loss
The Carens was not on sale in August 2021. Hence, we cannot do a YoY comparison
Kia’s new EV, the EV6, found no takers in August

In MoM comparison, Carens sales declined by 7.03% and was the top loser in Kia’s portfolio
The Sonet was the biggest MoM winner, reporting a gain of 8.63%
