In this August 2022 car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures of all B2-segment sedans in India. Where applicable, we’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales. B2-Segment Sedans August 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

The Tata Tigor was the top gainer, with 108% YoY growth in August 2022, followed by Dzire with 107.7%
The Dzire is the only car in the segment with a 5-figure sales in August 2022. The Xcent and Aura twins were a distant second
Honda Amaze was the only loser with a 48.14% decline in dispatches in August 2022 YoY

The Honda Amaze was the top gainer, with a 23.53% rise in sales in August 2022 compared to July 2022
The Tigor was the biggest MoM loser, registering a 35.8% drop in sales
