Audi have taken the wraps off the Q8 facelift and it features several design changes inside-out. The most noteworthy change in the Audi Q8 facelift is the inclusion of new HD Matrix LED headlamps with a laser high beam and OLED tail lamps with 4 custom lighting patterns. 2024 Audi Q8 Facelift Exterior Design

As part of the update for this year, the Audi Q8 facelift features a new octagonal single frame grille. The standard Q8 features a satin chrome grille surrounds, outside rearview mirror (ORVM) covers, window line garnish and alloy wheels. The SQ8, on the other hand, gets a gloss black treatment for a more sportier look. The SQ8 also features a mesh pattern for the grille compared to the vertical slats on the standard Q8 facelift.

The LED headlights now offer a new X-shaped LED DRL pattern along with Audi’s HD Matrix LED lighting setup. The connected tail lamps now feature OLED lighting elements that Audi claim are clearer than ever before. Other changes include redesigned front and rear bumpers and a new design for the 21-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, there are hardly any changes that differentiate the updated model from the outgoing one. With the update, Audi offer more inlay and colour options for the dashboard and seat upholstery. Additionally, Audi have also updated the touchscreen infotainment system with native app support like Alexa and Spotify. The Q8 continues to offer a twin touchscreen setup on the centre console in addition to a panoramic sunroof and a 3-spoke steering wheel.

While the Q8 facelift features several styling changes to keep it looking fresh, Audi have not fiddled with its engine and transmission options. When launched in India, we expect Audi to offer the Q8 facelift with the same 3.0L V6 turbo petrol engine from the current model. It produces 340PS of power at 6400rpm and 500Nm of torque between 1370rpm and 4500rpm. The engine channels power to all 4 wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Q8 facelift does 0-100kmph sprint in 5.6 seconds and is capable of hitting a top speed of 250kmph (limited).

2024 Audi Q8 Facelift India Launch Details

Audi India are yet to reveal the official launch timeline for the Q8 facelift. Looking at Audi India’s past launches, we can expect the carmaker to launch the new Q8 facelift in the first half of 2024. When launched, the new Audi Q8 facelift will continue to rival the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and BMW X6. The current Audi Q8 costs between Rs. 1.07 crore and Rs. 1.43 crore ex-showroom. We expect the upcoming facelift to cost slightly more than the current Q8.
