In this April 2023 Toyota car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Toyota for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Toyota cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Toyota cars.

April 2023 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Urban Cruiser dispatches declined over the last few months and in November for the first time, Toyota dispatched zero units of B2-segment SUV. It was discontinued by the carmaker soon after.
Among the mass-market offerings from the carmaker, the Glanza was the top YoY gainer, with a growth of 38%.
Fortuner reported a growth of 27.50% in April YoY comparison analysis
Innova dispatches dropped by 24% in April 2023 compared to April 2022, but it has become the top-selling car for Toyota after the generation update and introduction of the Hycross flavour of the Innova.
The Carmy saw a YoY decline of 51% in April 2023 comparison and was the top loser in Toyota’s stable

April 2023 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

Most mass-market cars from Toyota saw a decline in MoM sales comparison for April 2023.
The Glanza and Hilux witnessed a MoM sales growth of about 8.5% and 21%, respectively. These were the only cars to report an MoM growth in April.
The Innova reported the worst decline figures among mass-market cars from Toyota, with 40% plus MoM growth
Vellfire and Hilux sold about 400 units combined in April.
