Disclaimer: The waiting periods mentioned here are tentative and likely to vary depending on the stock available with the dealer for a specific model-colour-engine-transmission-variant combination. Considering the Maruti’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of a certain car. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, these waiting periods should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.

7-14 days is about enough time to just get the paperwork in order. So, you can consider that they are most likely in stock and pretty much ready for delivery. The following cars fall in this category:
- Alto K10
- Tour H1 (Alto K10 Comm)
- S-Presso
- Celerio
- WagonR
- Tour H3 (WagonR Comm)
- Eeco
- Tour V (Eeco Comm)
The Dzire and Swift seem to have a reasonably long waiting period. But the Brezza LXI CNG’s waiting period is extraordinarily long at almost 6 months. Only the Tour M (commercial Ertiga) manages to beat it with a tentative waiting period of more than 6 months.
The cars using the 6-speed torque converter automatic like the Brezza and Ertiga are also carrying a substantial waiting period of 8-12 weeks.
