The Hyundai Venue is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. Ever since its launch, the Venue has gained the tag of the most feature-rich sub-compact SUV in the country. The Renault Kiger, on the other hand, offers practicality and a sensible set of features at an affordable price.

Features Hyundai Venue Gets Over Renault Kiger

In this article, we share the list of features that you get in the Hyundai Venue over the Renault Kiger.

1. Curtain Airbags

While both the Venue and Kiger get front and side thorax airbags, the Venue offers curtain airbags in its top variant as well. It is worth noting that the Global NCAP awarded the Renault Kiger a 4-star rating while they are yet to test the Venue.

2. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The top variants of the Hyundai Venue come with a tyre pressure monitoring system. It tells the real-time tyre pressure of each tyre and also alerts the driver in case of an underinflated tyre or a puncture. This feature is sorely missed in the Kiger and we think every new car in this segment should have this safety feature.

3. Automatic Headlights

The top variants of the Venue offer automatic headlights, which not only turn on the lights during night but also when you enter a tunnel or a dark space such as an underground car park. The Kiger, on the other hand, comes with LED headlights.

4. Sunroof

The Venue comes with an electric sunroof from the mid variant onwards. The Kiger, on the other hand, doesn’t offer an electric sunroof even in the top variants.

5. Rear Disc Brakes

While the Venue comes with drum brakes at the rear, the Venue N Line offers rear disc brakes that offer better stopping power and feedback. The Kiger, on the other hand, comes with drum brakes at the rear.

6. Paddle Shifters

Both the Venue and Kiger come with automatic transmission options but the Venue also offers paddle shifters with the package.

7. Cornering Lamps

The Venue also offers cornering lamps incorporated into the headlight clusters. Cornering lamps light up the corners of the road when making a turn. It’s very useful and makes driving at night a lot safer and easier.

8. Power Adjustable Driver Seat

The Venue is the only B2-segment SUV to come with power-adjustable driver seat. It is worth mentioning that the power adjustment is only for fore and aft and backrest recline whereas the height adjustment remains a physical job.

9. Reclining Rear Seat

The new Venue also offers 2-step recline for the 2nd row backrest. It offers better comfort on long interstate journeys.
