8 Features Hyundai Venue Lacks Over Maruti Suzuki Brezza | V3Cars

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been one of the best-selling compact SUVs in its segment. Ever since its launch, it has been bringing 5 digit sales for the carmaker. It rivals the Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.

Features Missing In Hyundai Venue Over Maruti Suzuki Brezza

In this article, we share the features that are missing in the Brezza but available in the Hyundai Venue.

1. Height Adjustable Seat Belts

The new Brezza continues to come with height adjustable seat belts for the driver and co-passenger seats. Height adjustable seatbelts ensure safety of children and shorter adults in case of an impact by reducing the pressure on the chest and neck, if adjusted properly.

2. Auto-Dimming IRVM

The new Brezza comes with auto-dimming inside rear view mirror (IRVM) that adjusts the intensity of the mirror and avoids harsh reflections from oncoming traffic. The Venue doesn’t get the auto IRVM and does away with a manually-adjustable day/night mirror.

3. 360-degree Parking Camera

The new Brezza comes with a 360-degree parking camera. It offers bird’s eye view of the car and also alerts the driver in case of any obstacles around the car while parking. The Venue, on the other hand, comes with a rear parking camera only. Additionally, the Venue no longer gets a driver rear view monitor.

4. LED Fog Lamps

The new Brezza also continues to get all-LED setup on the front, including all-LED fog lamps. They offer a good throw of light and also add to the premium quotient of the car. It is worth noting that the outgoing Venue used to get halogen projector fog lamps but the Venue facelift doesn’t get any fog lamps.

5. Premium Sound System

The new Brezza comes with Arkamys-tuned acoustics that are said to offer better sound quality than the outgoing model. It is worth noting that the older Venue used to come with Arkamys sound but the new model gets unbranded audio.

6. Telescopic Steering

While both the Brezza and Venue come with tilt steering, the Brezza extends its lead with telescopic adjustment for the steering as well. It’s surprising to see that the Venue lacks telescopic steering adjustment as it comes as a standard feature in the Hyundai i20.

7. Sunglass Holder

The Brezza also gets a sunglass holder over the Hyundai Venue. While it isn’t a big feature to have, it certainly helps in keeping your expensive sunglasses scratch-free.

8. Head-Up Display

The new Brezza comes with a head-up display, which is a segment-first feature. Head-up display offers a few vital information like vehicle speed, engine RPM, fuel efficiency and music playback. It is worth noting that the Brezza comes with conventional dials for the instrument console whereas the Venue gets a digital instrument cluster.
