7 Features Tata Punch Adventure Gets Over Citroen C3 Feel | V3Cars

Citroen are all set to launch the C3 on July 20. Citroen aim to price the C3 competitively by offering less standard features than its rivals. We expect the Citroen C3 to undercut its primary rivals, the Tata Punch and Maruti Suzuki Ignis. We compare the Tata Punch Adventure variant with the Citroen Feel, based on the list of features and expected prices of the C3.

Here are 7 features that are missing in the Citroen C3 but present in the Tata Punch Adventure.

1. Electrically-Adjustable ORVMs

Tata Punch offers electrically-adjustable ORVMs in the Adventure variant whereas top variants also offer auto-fold functionality as well. On the other hand, the C3 offers old-school, manually-adjustable ORVMs.

2. Manual Day/Night IRVM

Tata Punch Adventure offers manually adjustable day/night inside rear-view mirror. On the other hand, the C3 gets a basic inside rear-view mirror without any day/night adjustment. The day/night IRVM serves a crucial role in night driving as it cuts the reflection from the traffic coming from behind.

3. Tachometer

The Tata Punch Adventure gets an analogue speedometer and tachometer with a digital MID in between. The C3 gets a more premium, all-digital instrument cluster. However, it misses out on a tachometer, even with the turbo petrol engine.

4. ISOFIX Anchorages

Tata Motors offer the Punch with child seat anchorages as standard across all variants. On the other hand, the Citroen C3 doesn’t offer ISOFIX even in the Feel variant.

5. Body-coloured ORVM

The Tata Punch Adventure comes with body-coloured outside rear-view mirrors whereas the C3 Feel comes with gloss black ORVMs with every colour option available.

6. LED Turn Indicators

The Tata Punch Adventure comes with LED side turn indicators mounted on the ORVMs. In the C3 Feel, you get halogen-based side turn indicators mounted on the fenders.

7. 90-Degree Door Opening

Tata offer 90-degree door opening for all doors in all variants of the Tata Punch. This feature remains exclusive to Tata Motors in the mass-market segment and helps in easy ingress and egress for front and rear passengers.
