7 Features Tata Nexon Gets But Renault Kiger Doesn’t | V3Cars

The Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. Over the years, the Nexon has gained a lot of features but that has resulted in substantial price hikes recently. The Renault Kiger, on the other hand, offers practicality and a sensible set of features.

Features Tata Nexon Gets Over Renault Kiger

In this article, we share the list of features that you get in the Tata Nexon over the Renault Kiger.

1. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The top variants of the Tata Nexon come with a tyre pressure monitoring system. It tells the real-time tyre pressure of each tyre and also alerts the driver in case of an underinflated tyre or a puncture. This feature is sorely missed in the Kiger and we think every new car in this segment should have this safety feature.

2. Height Adjustable Seatbelts

Tata Nexon offers height adjustable seatbelts for the driver and co-passenger. Height adjustable seatbelts come in handy when a child or a shorter person is seated on the passenger seat. A height-adjustable seatbelt not only enhances comfort but also makes the car safer. It is worth noting that both the Nexon and Kiger get front seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters.

3. Auto-Dimming IRVM

The Nexon comes with an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror whereas the Kiger gets a manually-adjustable day/night IRVM. Auto-dimming IRVM reduces the light glare while diving in the night without having to make any adjustments manually.

4. Sunroof

The Nexon comes with an electric sunroof from the XMS variant and upwards. The Kiger, on the other hand, doesn’t offer an electric sunroof even in the top variants.

5. Automatic Headlights

The top variants of the Nexon come with automatic headlights, which turn on the light when the sensor detects low lighting, either in case of night driving or while passing through tunnels. This feature doesn’t serve much value but boosts the premium feel of a vehicle.

6. Rain-Sensing Wipers

The Nexon offers rain-sensing wipers from its XMS variant onwards. Rain-sensing wipers automatically turn on the wipers in the rain and also selects the wiper speed depending on the intensity of rain. This feature cuts the effort of manually changing the speed of wipers with varying intensity of rain.

7. Ventilated Front Seats

While the Nexon offers leatherette seats in its top variants, the Kaziranga edition adds front ventilated seats. The Kiger, on the other hand, not only lacks front seat ventilation but also misses leatherette seat upholstery.
