5 Features Maruti Nexa Baleno Gets But Hyundai i20 Doesn’t | V3Cars
The Hyundai i20, which replaced the Getz, was the first premium hatchback in India. It continues to remain the most feature-loaded car in the segment. However, since its launch, the premium hatchback has seen new contenders and the Baleno is famous for its design and fuel efficiency.
In this article, we share features that you get in the Maruti Nexa Baleno but miss in the Hyundai i20.
1. 360 Degree Parking Camera
The top variants of the new Baleno come with a 360-degree parking camera. It offers a bird’s eye view of the car and also views from multiple angles. While it doesn’t get front parking sensors, the system senses any obstacles around the car from the camera feed and shows an alert with a chime on the touchscreen infotainment system.
2. LED Fog Lamps
While the i20 and Baleno get LED headlights, the Baleno also offers reflector-based LED fog lights. The i20, on the other hand, offers halogen projector fog lights.

3. 60:40 Rear Seat Split
The Baleno not only offers more boot space but also gets a 60:40 split fold for the rear bench seat. A 60:40 split folding rear seat is a lot more practical as it lets you store long items while retaining space for 1 passenger at the rear. The i20, on the other hand, offers a flat folding rear seat backrest.
4. Head-Up Display
The top variant of the new Baleno offers a head-up display. The reflector-based head-up display rises up every time you start driving the car. It projects vital information like vehicle speed, engine RPM, fuel efficiency, turn-by-turn navigation and music playback.

5. Passenger-side Request Sensor
Like every other Maruti Suzuki offering, the Baleno offers door request sensors on both front doors. The i20 only gets 1 door request sensor, which is on the driver-side door handle.
