Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hatch And Sedan Get Minor Update For 2023 | V3Cars
Mercedes-Benz have revealed the updated A-Class hatchback and sedan models. Both models come with mild exterior design enhancements and more equipment on the inside. Mercedes-Benz could bring the updated A-Class sedan (aka the Limousine) to our shores next year.
In terms of exterior changes, the front profile gets flatter LED headlights with a reworked lighting setup. The grille now boasts small tri-start chrome inserts whereas the A45 AMG models continue to offer the Panamericana grille. Other changes include a pair of newly-designed LED tail lights and a new range of alloy wheel options.

On the inside, the biggest perceptible change is the new steering wheel. The new unit comes with a 3-spoke design, 2 of which are further divided into 2 smaller sections and boast capacitive control for media, cruise and other functions. The AMG models add drive select and ESP settings to the steering wheel. Apart from that, the updated twin 10.25-inch displays now run the latest MBUX system and offer customizable themes and other features like Mercedes Me connect and digital assistant.

On the powertrain front, the new A-Class range comes standard petrol mild-hybrid powertrains. The petrol engines come with a 48V hybrid setup that offers a boost of around 14PS as and when required. Additionally, the plug-in-hybrid models receive better performance and efficiency. In India, Mercedes-Benz offer the A-Class limousine with a 1.3L turbo petrol, a 2.0L turbo petrol A35 and a 2.0L turbo diesel engine. Furthermore, the German carmaker also offers the AMG A45s hatchback as a CBU.
