Mahindra XUV400 Electric Spied Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars

Mahindra XUV400 electric crossover has been spied on test once again, revealing a clearer overview of its design. Mahindra will launch the XUV400 electric in early 2023 and we can expect the global reveal later this year.

The new spy shots confirm the extended length of the XUV400 over the XUV300. Mahindra earlier revealed that the XUV400 electric will boast a length of around 4.2 metres. We can see the protruding boot lid and tail lights in the spy shots that are not present on the XUV300. At the front, the XUV400 Electric looks similar to the XUV300. However, it gets an enclosed grille and a tweaked profile for the bumper.

Around the side, we can see the charging port on the left fender along with muscular aches above the wheel wells. The test car was seen running on 16-inch wheels but we can expect the production-spec model to come with 17-inch alloy wheels.

The XUV400 Electric is likely to boast a 40kWh battery pack and an electric motor capable of producing around 150PS of power. These specs will put the XUV400 Electric up against the Nexon EV Max. It is worth noting that the XUV400 Electric will have a significant size advantage over sub-4 metre SUVs such as the Nexon EV Max. Hence, the XUV400 Electric will sit between the Nexon EV Max and MG ZS EV.
