Land Rover Defender 130 Launched In India — Prices Start From Rs. 1.30 Crore | V3Cars
Land Rover have launched the Defender 130 SUV in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). The Defender 130 is longer than the Defender 110 gets increased length and offers seating space for up to 8 passengers.

The Land Rover Defender 130 is priced around Rs. 11 lakh more than the equivalent variant of the Defender 110. For the extra money, the Defender 130 offers an increase in length by 340mm, which frees up space for a third row of seats However, the Defender 130 lacks the jump seat option in the front row, which is available with the Defender 110.

Land Rover Defender 130 Exterior
The Defender 130 retains the semi-circular LED DRLs and squared-off LED tail lights. It also gets a longer rear overhang (340mm) to accommodate the extra seats and offer better luggage space. Land Rover have also redesigned the rear profile to keep the departure angle of 28.5 degrees intact. The top-spec Defender 130 gets matrix LED headlights and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Land Rover Defender 130 Interior And Features
On the inside, the Defender 130 is identical to the rest of the Defender range. The Defender 130 gets an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, 4-spoke steering wheel, digital inside rearview mirror (IRVM), a panoramic sunroof, safari windows, adaptive air suspension and 4-zone climate control.

Land Rover Defender 130 Powertrain Details
Land Rover offer the Defender 130 with a choice of 2 engines — a 3.0L turbo petrol and a 3.0L turbo diesel. The 3.0L turbo petrol engine is offered in 2 states of tune — 300PS with 470Nm of torque and 400PS with 550Nm of torque. The 3.0L turbo diesel, on the other hand, offers 300PS of power and 650Nm of torque. Both the petrol and diesel engine options come with a mild-hybrid setup and an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission as standard.
