Honda City Facelift Bookings Open — Launch Date Revealed | V3Cars
Honda have opened bookings for the 2023 City facelift for a token amount of Rs. 5,000. Interested buyers can log on to Honda Cars India website or visit their nearest dealership to book the City C-segment sedan. Honda will announce the prices of the new City on March 2.
2023 Honda City Facelift Bookings Open
Honda have opened bookings for the 2023 City facelift and the carmaker will begin dispatches soon. Dealerships are likely to soon offer test drives for the City facelift. The token amount for booking the 2023 City via the online portal is set at Rs. 5,000 whereas Honda dealerships charge Rs. 21,000, both of which are fully refundable.

2023 Honda City e:HEV Hybrid To Get New V Variant
Our sources confirm that Honda will offer a new V variant with the e:HEV strong hybrid powertrain. It will sit below the top-spec ZX variant of the strong hybrid powertrain option and offer similar features as the City V petrol. The City V petrol offers features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable and foldable ORVMs, height adjustable driver seat, cruise control, alloy wheels and projector headlights.
Currently, only the top-spec ZX variant of the City gets the e:HEV strong hybrid powertrain option. The City e:HEV ZX is priced at Rs. 19.89 lakh ex-showroom. The top-spec model comes with advanced driver assistance features (ADAS), which is likely to trickle down to the normal petrol variants of the City facelift.

2023 Honda City Petrol Likely To Get ADAS
Honda are likely to add advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features in the ZX normal petrol variant of the City. Till now, the ADAS features were exclusive to the ZX strong hybrid variant. Take a look at the ADAS features of the Honda City e:HEV:
- Auto emergency braking (AEB)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
- Auto High Beam (AHB)
- Blind spot camera
2023 Honda City Powertrain Details
Honda will offer the City facelift with normal petrol and strong hybrid petrol engine options. Honda have already discontinued the 1.5L turbo diesel engine from the Amaze and City and it is unlikely to make a comeback. Both the 1.5L normal petrol and strong hybrid powertrains of the new City will comply with BS6 phase-2 emission norms. Both engines are likely to comply with E20 fuel as well.
2023 Honda City Facelift Launch Details
As we stated earlier, Honda will announce the prices of the 2023 City on March 2, 2023. The arch rival of the Honda City — the Hyundai Verna — is set to receive a generation change on March 21, 2023. The new City facelift will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
